1&1 commitment to renewable energy!
Our website is hosted in ecological data centers of 1&1. Since December 1, 2007, 1&1, a global leader of web hosting, is providing its data centers from renewable energy sources like wind, solar or hydro. The provider entity is "Stadtwerke Karlsruhe (Germany), with the international certificate of renewable energy, RECS (Renewable Energy Certificate System). The natural energy is supported by this certification, existing in 15 European countries in order to ensure that the energy generated from renewable sources. 1&1 save approximately 30,000 tonnes of carbon dioxide per year.
We respect the environment! - The target of 1&1 is not only using of natural energy, but also reducing energy consumption. So we use for years efficient power supplies with 20% less heat loss. Below 10ºC, switched to a recirculating cooling system of air, unlike water cooling systems, which operate compressors, take advantage of outside air to obtain a significant energy savings.
- Recycled Packaging
At Bicis Buendia we aim to recycle the most of all packaging materials that are delivered to us. We make no apologies by reusing boxes that are delivered to us by manufacturers and using them to package your mail order. It's our way of contributing to recycling and helps save the planet.
