Soft Instep Closure System - The wide, anatomical and padded strap has been reduced and coupled to soft, thermo-formed Eva increasing comfort and performance. It distributes pressure evenly over the arch area, adjustable from both sides for perfect centering. The system eliminates the need for the High Instep Extender. Used with SL and Caliper buckle straps. Serviceable and replaceable.
Super Light SL buckle - Allows locking in two different ways: by taking up a number of clicks with one sweep of the lever, or engaging half click at a time for a truly micrometric adjustment. The two red flaps may be pressed together for complete unlocking or alternately to slightly loosen the shoe during performance
Tecno-II system - Tecno II buckle uses monofilament line and a fine-tooth ratchet for smooth adjustment and even pressure distribution. Allows frontal micrometric closure and adapts the upper of the shoe to the shape of the foot for a customised fit. The Tecno II system is now smaller and can be replaced more easily. Serviceable and replaceable.
Carbon Composite Sole - Replacing the Hi-Tech Carbon Sole, the new Carbon Composite Sole is constructed using the same design as the revolutionary Full Carbon Sole. The Carbon Composite Sole is thinner in the toe to provide a slight amount of flex while retaining excellent stiffness and power transfer in the body of the shoe. The sole is engineered for the high-performance, high-mileage cyclist who requires a sole that is rigid but does not compromise the foot’s blood circulation, guaranteeing comfort and great performance. The Carbon Composite sole is made out of injected Carbon Fiber in a matrix of Nylon12. The Nylon12 matrix is preferable to standard Nylon because it doesn’t absorb water and doesn’t lose rigidity in hot or humid weather or as it ages. The resulting sole is significantly lighter and stiffer than the previous Hi-Tech Carbon Sole. The new sole design is also thinner, bringing the foot closer to the pedal axis and includes an anti-slip insert at the toe and has a replaceable rubber heel pad. The Carbon Composite sole is compatible with the Look Keo memory cleat.
Heel cup - The reinforced heel cup keeps the foot in position and avoids the shoe being deformed by extreme performance or prolonged pressure.
Lorica® - Lorica is a Hi-Tech Syntehtic leather made from the most sophisticated technology.
Replaceable Parts - All buckles, Heel tab and mechanisms are replaceable.
